Levadeiakos vs Aris (15.00)

Levadeiakos drew in their last away game a result that wasn’t enough for the owners since they sacked manager Sanino and hired the experienced coach Karageorgiou. Levadeiakos is minus six points from the place that save a team from relegation, so this is a must win game. New transfer Kone will play straight in the game as the quality of the team is in very low level. No major absences for this weekend.

Aris got a point against Larisa in a game that they could either win or lose. In the existing list of injuries two more players have been added as the best defender so far in the season Velez and right back Kostantinidis got injured and both will be out for this game. 3 new players have been transferred in the team – Tonso/Larson/Ros and hopefully they will help immediately as all of them are included in the final squad of this weekend.  Striker Yunes and midfielder Gama are still injured.

Prediction: Aris has the quality to take the 3 points. (2.45)


Lamia vs Atromitos (19.00)

Lamia is in the best condition of all teams that fight to avoid relegation. During last week they won Panathinaikos 1-0 for the league and 4 days later they have qualified to next round of Green Cup. For the coming game , there are no serious absences for coach Chavos who will only need to manage the issue that this game will be the third in 8 days period.

Atromitos lost in their last away game against Xanthi and they are now far from the first places of the board. There have been changes in the squad as left back Giannoulis went to PAOK and midfielder Vasilakakis is ready to move to Tripoli. On the other hand midfielder Warda came back to the team – last season he was the MVP of Atromitos – . Injury list is blank.

PAOK vs OFI (17.15)

PAOK are dominating of their opponents in each game having only one draw so far in the season. In their last game they beat easily 3-0 Panionios and for the coming game they will also have in the squad the new signings – Misic, Swiderski and Giannoulis. Midfielder El Kadouri will finally stay in the team as in the last minute he was convinced not to go to Parma. There are no injuries this weekend.

OFI made their biggest win in the league last week as they beat in home Panaitolikos 3-0. Coach Papadopoulos was sacked next day , as during the game he had a serious fight with the other manager Dellas. His sorry wasn’t accepted by the owners and the team is now looking for his replacement. For this game his assistant Karampatakis will be as main coach. Injury list is blank.

Prediction : PAOK to win in half time in full time and over 2.5 goals. (2.20)


Panathinaikos vs Larisa (19.00)

Panathinaikos as it was expected in the beginning of the season are now showing all weaknesses they have. They lost away from Lamia last weekend and they were also disqualified from Lamia for Greek Cup on Thursday. Coach Donis insists that this year is a transition period where all youngsters are gaining experiences and he is not worried at all. For the coming game there is only one absence as defender Kolovetsios is banned.

Larisa are playing decent football and it seems they will avoid relegation easily. They got a point from their last game but they were out from the Greek Cup as they lost 5-3 from Astera Tripolis. Coach Festa will admitted that his team might need 1 or 2 transfers for this period in order to make sure they have no relegation problems. Midfielder Antoni Fation is banned for this match.

Asteras Tripolis vs Olympiakos (19.30)

Asteras Tripolis were beaten easily from AEK in the last league game but they were qualified to next round of Greek Cup in the most <crazy> match of the year. Coach Paraschos admitted that this qualification might change the status of the team and he is ready to make the appropriate changes for the coming game in order not to have 3 losses in a row. Forward Kaltsas is banned for this game and midfielder Iglesias is injured.

Olympiakos continued their good performances in the league by winning Pas Giannina away, but they are still 8 points behind PAOK. The game against Tripoli is the most important match so far, as coach Martins admitted, because a potential draw or loss will make things almost not reversible. During the week they qualified to final 8 of the Greek Cup. There is no absence for this weekend and best eleven will start the game.

Prediction :  If Olympiakos want to have chances to win the league they need to take the 3 points. It will not be easy though. Olympiakos to win and both teams to score. (3.80)
