Sunday Matches (04/11)

PAS Giannina vs Lamia (17.15)

Odds: 2.00 – 3.20 – 4.20

PAS Giannina had fourth consecutive loss in the league and they are very close to relegation zone. In their last game against Xanthi played really good but they had terrible complaints from the referee. Mystakides scored again but Athanasiadis is still very far from his standards. Striker Krizman will be out also this week together with winger Kuzik.

Lamia had a second win in a row last week, and they found themselves away from relegation zone for the first time in the season. It seems that Makis Chavos has found the formation that suits his team and the old problem of scoring goals has now gone. Key player Blazic is injured this week and he cannot play.

Prediction : Difficult game to predict. We will go with the pick of 2-3 goals in the game. (1.80)

Aris vs Olympiakos (19.00)

Odds: 4.25 – 3.25 – 2.00

Third defeat in a row for Aris and the team is in crisis. After the easy loss from AEK last week there were some meetings between onwer – coach – general manager – players and they decided to delete all previous bad performances and make a restart from the game against Olympiakos. Central defender Velez is still out – he proves to be the biggest absence so far in defense , but all other players are available to help the team. Midfielder Matrinez is expected to start in the first eleven.

Olympiakos continued their bad performances against Apollon Smirnis last week, where they only scored in the 90th minute. Main striker Guerrero is still not available for coach Martins, so forward Hasan is expected to start  in the game along with Christodoulopoulos and Podence. It is a must win game for Olympiakos if they want to challenge for the league title.

Prediction : Aris has the quality not to lose, while Olympiakos seems to be a bit confused. We will go with the pick of Aris not to lose. (1.80)

OFI vs Apollon Smirnis (19.30)

Odds: 1.74 – 3.50 – 5.15

It seems that team of OFI is playing well after a very bad start in the season. They run an unbeaten record and they have the opportunity to extend it by winning Smirni in their home. Main striker Vouho and attacking midfielder Neyra are in the final squad for this game but they are not fully fit. Coach Papadopoulos will need to change the formation for this game since OFI will need to play for the win , and this is always tricky for this kind of teams.

Team of Apollon had the best performance so far last week against Olympiakos when they got beaten only in the last minute of the game. Negative defeat record interrrupted since they finally beat Paralimni for the cup game during the week by resting a lot of players. Coach Mantzourakis will have all key players back in action – apart from Kontoes who is still injured.

Prediction : Even though OFI is playing good in the last games, i will go with the pick of Apollon to get the first point(s) this season . x2(2.00)

Monday Match (05/11)

Ateras Tripolis vs Xanthi (19.30)

Odds: 1.64 – 3.65 – 5.80

Asteras got lucky for the first time this season as they scored in injury time and avoided the defeat from Panaitolikos. They played good enough but yet again they conceded a goal. In the game against Xanthi it is expected to play offensively as it is a must win game if they want to have chance for the first 5 places. There are no major problems for coach Pantelidis.

Another average performance for Xanthi with the same result -win-. Striker Jendrisek is in hot form as he is not only scoring in each game but also assisting his team mates. In this game Xanthi is facing a lot of injury problems as 4 key players are doubtfull (De lucas-Brito-Sarpong-Sylla).

Prediction : I see Asteras to win this but since odds are very low i will go with the option of Manias to score anytime in the game. (2.35)
